Dr. Allahbaksh Naikodi

R&D Head, Mahindra Electric

Dr. Allabaksh Naikodi, with over 32 years of experience is presently heading the Product Engineering Department of Mahindra Electric - the Electric Vehicle Company of Mahindra. He obtained Ph. D in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (Chennai) in 1995. Prior to joining Mahindra Electric he has worked for ABB, Honeywell, Schneider Electric and Tech Mahindra. He is the member expert committee - government of India on EV sub-systems and charging infrastructure development. He has filed fourteen patents in EV Technologies.

Prof. Sebastian Peter

Co-Founder, Breathed Applied Sciences Professor at Jawaharlal Nehru advanced research centre

A researcher cum entrepreneur Prof. Sebastian Peter has co-founded one of the most innovative startups of Karnataka Breathe. Breathe, headquartered in Bengaluru, is the only team from India to make it to the finals of the $20-million global challenge - NRG Cosia Carbon XPrize. They developed technology to convert carbon dioxide from combustion fuel gas into chemicals like methanol, which is used by companies in the chemical, pharmaceutical, plastics, and energy sectors.

Prof. Ramakrishnan Angarai

Co-Founder, RaGaVeRa Indic Technologies

Professor at Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore

Prof. Ramakrishnan is the leader of a research consortium, he was instrumental in creating handwriting recognition technologies for eight Indian languages. He received Manthan Award (South East Asia and the Asia Pacific) twice for creating audiobooks for blind students. He has co-founded RaGaVeRa Indic Technologies, a startup that offers text-to-speech synthesis for Indian languages.

Prof. Subimal Ghosh

Hydro-climatology Expert and Professor at IIT Bombay

Prof. Subimal’s work focuses on how climate influences the water cycle and water present beneath the surface of the earth. He has been awarded the Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prize 2019 by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR). This award recognizes his significant contributions to our understanding of how land surface processes influence the Indian monsoon, as well as for improving regional monsoon simulations and predictions.
