EnTech is an initiative taken by E-Cell IIT Bombay which envisions to increase the number of technology startups coming out of IIT Bombay. Through this initiative, we plan to connect professors with sound technical background and industry insights to students who are interested in monetizing research projects into successful business ventures.
We realize that having a passionate team and a brilliant idea is very crucial for the success of one startup, but we observe that most of the startups fail to flourish because they lack either one or both of them. With the aim of promoting a healthy entrepreneurial ecosystem, E-Cell IIT Bombay strives to bridge the gap between the professors and the students which will ultimately boost the number of technology startups in the institute.
Students can view projects that the professors are working on and get an idea about their research areas and expertise. They can also apply for the same projects listed or can seek validation and mentorship from the professors on their plans.
Professors can enlist their field of research, projects & requirements. Students can then work along with the professors on projects which interest them & convert it to a successful venture.
